The Ibn Batouta School began as a pilot project in 2002/2003 and is running now in its fifteenth year. Students who started their education in the school are now in universities and colleges and have been successful in various disciplines. They have also shown great leadership and are successful leaders in the community. They are concrete evidence of the realization of the wishes and prayers of those who worked day and night to make a difference within the community as well as the larger Canadian community.
Ecole Ibn Batouta believes in making youth education a factor of change and progress through offering them high moral and academic standards that will raise Canadian Muslim youth that will carry on to be productive & contributing members of society. Our mission is to enable and inspire a diverse student body to achieve academic excellence through critical thinking and innovation in order to make positive contribution to our world.
The Vision of the school is to provide students a unique opportunity to receive an education that emphasizes intellectual development, cross cultural understanding, and citizenship in a global society.
