From the beginning it was understood as a nomadic platform that should be flexible enough to travel around the globe. From 2004 till 2008, the practice moved to New York, and in May 2008 moved to Shanghai. Since May 2009, ///byn was a full-time operative office in its Shanghai base. Since March 2013 ///byn has a full operative studio in Sao paulo, Brasil.
