At 10,000 Black Appraisers Inc. (10KBA), our mission is to bridge the gap in property valuations and empower communities of color. We are committed to educating and training 10,000 minority real estate appraisers, addressing the alarming undervaluation of Black-owned properties in the United States.
Our goal is to create systemic change in the industry and unlock the true home value diminished by the persistent impacts of exclusionary real estate practices. We offer short- and long-term solutions through education and training, as well as an alternative valuation model that confronts appraisal bias inherent in current methods.
