Luis Ayala Rubio Arquitectos is an architecture firm located in Ponce, Puerto Rico, dedicated to creating distinctive buildings and spaces, while providing complete services for projects of all types. Since 1994, the studio is directed by Luis Ayala Rubio AIA, counting on the experience gathered through more than twenty years of work in residential, commercial and institutional projects. Our personnel is distinguished by its ability and enthusiasm for each project developed by the firm. Our consultants for civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering are recognized for their knowledge and ample experience. In the same manner, special consultants in historical preservation, geotechnical engineering, archeology, acoustics, communications, landscaping and other fields, are chosen for their quality work and high sense of professionalism. Recent work includes projects developed through the firm 3av Arquitectura, co-founded in 2011 by Ayala Rubio. This body of work includes the new School of Music at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico; the Posada Peñuelas hotel, a project generated as a collaboration between the Peñuelas Municipality and the School of Architecture at the PUCPR; and the Mons. Vicente Murga Theater, also at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. The quality of our work is constantly recognized by clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other parties involved with our projects. Each project starts with the analysis that corresponds to its particular conditions, and our efforts are appropriately focused on the search for intelligent solutions that will generate attractive, practical buildings. Our work tries to be specific to place, climate, intended use and other conditions that might not be necessarily apparent.
