3DBigDataSpace

3DBigDataSpace is revolutionizing the accessibility and usability of 3D content for cultural heritage. While the advent of large-scale datasets has made 3D data more available, its heterogeneous quality and lack of metadata have limited its application in heritage contexts. Our project addresses this challenge by significantly increasing the number of high-quality 3D models in the European Data Space for cultural heritage. We integrate datasets from various providers, establish stable long-term storage solutions, and apply AI-driven data enrichment techniques to enhance findability and contextualization. Through real-world applications in museums, heritage routes, and educational initiatives, we ensure that 3D content becomes a valuable resource for immersive XR experiences and future 4D applications.
