3Fueled, LLC Overview

3Fueled is involved from the lignocellulosic biomass harvesting process through the distribution of densified pellets. After harvest, the farmer will choose between baling their own corn stover or having 3Fueled custom bale. From here, the material will be taken to one of 14 collection facilities located throughout the state and transported to 3Fueled's densification sites. Once the final product is produced, the pellets will be transported to 3Fueled’s end users, such as utilities, biopolymer companies, 2nd generation biofuel companies, and biochemical industries. Currently identified market opportunities in northeast Iowa alone will support the supply of over 4 million tons of biomass each year. 3Fueled plans to fulfill 1.2 million tons of this demand by 2012 and 2.4 million tons by 2015.
