3RE Global has developed proprietary Battery Regeneration Technology which is currently being patented. Global's operations can be found in over 10 countries in Eastern Europe, the Middle and the Far East. 3RE Africa is responsible for rolling out these solutions using the same technology on the African continent.
The regeneration solution extends the useful lives of batteries, affording clients up to 35% cost savings on batteries over a 3-year period. Its operating model is to select physically-sound batteries that are 3 years old and run them through its regeneration process. It charges the clients a fee which is a fraction of the cost of a new battery for successfully-regenerated batteries only. This means there is no risk to the clients. In addition it affords these clients a warranty on the regenerated batteries.
3RE Africa's clients are large users of batteries including but not limited to Mobile Operators, Tower (Base Station) owners, other utilities, mines, etc.
