501 Ventures is an educational startup with the goal of bridging the wealth gap in Silicon Valley. Utilizing crowdsourcing and other fundraising, it is able to raise money to host seminars on entrepreneurship led by local business professionals. These seminars will be free of charge with lunch and child care provided to accommodate its attendee's schedules. The lessons will provide a basis of entrepreneurial education to help those who attend it to create a business plan for their startup, then eventually create a company themselves. Then, its executive board will review the business plans submitted and provide constructive criticism to help them improve. Once the review process is complete, the executive board will allocate funding to as many completed projects as possible enabling the creation and growth of the created startups.
