6G-MUSICAL Overview

6G MUSICAL is a ground-breaking project that merges radio sensing and communication technologies to create new paradigms in Radio Frequency (RF) communication. The project is perfectly timed to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving world of wireless communications, radio-sensing, localization, and positioning. The discussions emphasised the importance of this 6G SNS research project in defining the future of 6G. This 36-month 6G programme, co-funded by SNS JU and the EU, officially started on 1 January 2024. The SNS JU aims to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and create sustainable, resilient and climate-neutral network infrastructures and services. The EU funding for the first and second call of the SNS JU under the Horizon Europe programme amounts to a total of around 380 million euros.
