706 Together is an Athens-based non-profit that organizes events each year to raise money for local charities. It originated in 2019 when a group of friends got together to throw a small party to raise money for ESP and has evolved into a much larger operation committed to making a substantial difference in our community. Each year, we choose causes that are meaningful to our team members and important to our communities and select corresponding beneficiary organizations that are making a difference.
We’ve grown a lot over the past couple of years and we hope that we can continue not only raising money for incredible charities, but also increasing awareness by sparking conversations, fighting stigmas, and encouraging compassion. Although we are fairly new to the non-profit space, we are very proud of our fundraising efforts to date:
