A&L Auto Recyclers has been in operation since 1961. It's founder Mr. Andre Lanoue established it. In 1965, the company was incorporated as A&L Auto Wreckers Ltd. Later, in 1984 the company's name was changed to A&L Auto Recyclers Inc. to more accurately reflect the recycling activities of the organization.
On August 26, 1991, Andre's sons, Jeff and John Lanoue, became the shareholders of A&L Auto Recyclers Inc. In 2001, A&L Auto Recyclers Inc. joined the Pro Auto Recyclers of Canada group. This association of seven auto recycling sites throughout the Province of Ontario has enabled the company to grow and achieve economies of scale. In 2006 the group changed its name to Car-MS QRP. This was a result of growth in the group. The group is now the largest in Canada now with 22 members.
