A-1 Drilling and Blasting Company was established in 2009 as a Massachusetts Corporation. We are a drilling and blasting contractor specializing in all areas of rock removal, large & small. This includes: private, residential, commercial, and industrial quarry blasting. We drill and blast hole sizes from 1 1/2" to 6 3/4". We also do hydraulic rock splitting. Utilizing the latest hole deviation and 3D laser modeling technology we are able to optimize blast safety and rock fragmentation.
A-1 has a Federal Explosives License and 8 million dollars in liability insurance. We are Licensed & Insured to operate in MA, RI, CT, & NH. All employees are OSHA & MSHA certified. A-1 currently has over 30 employees, The majority of which have between 10-25 years of experience.
