[A] ainda arquitectura was founded in 1998 by Guiomar Rosa and Luís Tavares Pereira. It is a studio opened to a vast array of subjects within architecture, crossing the fields of product/furniture design, interior design, exhibition design, to urban design and public space or urban infra-structures. In parallel it serves as support for interdisciplinary projects including exhibitions, seminars, lectures or printed media regarding architecture, urban and landscape. The studio has completed a series of single family houses, interior refurbishments, and public buildings. Since 2004, [A] ainda arquitectura keeps a regular collaboration with Serralves Contemporary Art Museum for architecture consulting on exhibition layout and design. In 2002 [A] ainda arquitectura was one of 5 portuguese studios seleccted for the III Portuguese and Spanish Meeting, in Salamanca, promoted by Fundación Duques de Soria and with scientific curatorship by Álvaro Siza and Rafael Moneo. In 2009 [A] ainda arquitectura's 'm+m house' was selected for the 2006-2008 "Habitar Portugal" exhibition on the best of the period.
