Our first office being established in Adelaide, South Australia in November 2017 A place for people and businesses wanting to learn the Why and What of Blockchain for business as well as an environment for the development and commercialising of blockchain applications and applying the use of blockchain to business. Blockchain also has potential applications far beyond bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Blockchain is, quite simply, a digital, decentralised ledger that keeps a record of all transactions that take place across a peer-to-peer network. The major innovation is that the technology allows market participants to transfer assets across the Internet without the need for a centralised third party. From a business perspective, it’s helpful to think of blockchain technology as a type of next-generation business process improvement software. Collaborative technology, such as blockchain, promises the ability to improve the business processes that occur between companies, radically lowering the “cost of trust.” For this reason, it may offer significantly higher returns for each investment dollar spent than most traditional internal investments. - PWC We will develop a working environment that brings together the specialists in all aspects of Blockchain including Legal, Financial and Technical. This will include close working relationships with Universities and associated Startup Incubators. We will also support crypto currency education and trading as well as IoT development and other consulting support services to help startups in the BlockChain world. Our services will include support for development of Initial Coin Offerings. ABCF will look to become a premier provider of Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) solutions working with enterprise partners around the world. We aim to open ABCF workspaces in key locations around Australia, with the Gold Coast to follow in early Jan 2018 People working in ABCF workspace will have the opportunity to also be involved in benefiting from projects developed by ABCF with issue of tokens/coins in the projects and even options for sweat equity based on time and IP contribution. We will: i. Secure projects that can then provide opportunities to add value to entrepreneurs/programmers etc.. working on their own projects as part of being in the Collaborate WorkSpace. (ie. instead of them going out to drive UBER etc to earn income) ii. Support structuring of new business ideas and ventures iii. Provide support and mentoring to Start-Ups working in the space and organise for outside mentors and expertise (eg Universities and associated Incubators) iv. Support creating a network of qualified persons for this space. v. Support seed funding presentation opportunities and network of VCs to engage with. vi. Help develop ties to industry associations via ADCA to support new application developments etc.... vii. Create an environment for Regulatory Sandbox development for test case of blockchain applications. Partnering with: Universities in Australia, USA and China Proven Experts Internationally A number of well established Projects will be on-boarded from the launch including: Natures Coin - a certification crypto currency for sustainable forestry and natural capital. Seed funding being attracted now. School of Blockchain - round 1 seed funding secured for this.
