A Custom Fit iNMotion, LLC opened its doors in early 2022 after its Founders saw an urgent need for compliant and properly licensed/certified Orthotic Fitting Nationwide after Medicare's CR12282 ruling back in October 2021 that stopped all dropshipping of braces to patients, and rightfully so.
Having the proper staff in place is a must if you intend to provide OTS Custom-Fitted Orthosis, either Nationwide, in a few States or even just in your home State. You will have to have one of the following Practitioners employed or contracted with your company, an ABC/BOC Certified Orthotist, Orthotic Fitter, Pedorthist, Mastectomy Fitter, or a *Physical/Occupational Therapist in approved States*. That task sounds much easier to accomplish than it is.
This is where A Custom Fit iNMotion, LLC comes in. Our purpose and goal are to work with DME/HME Suppliers Nationwide and to help educate them regarding the proper regulations, policies, and standards that are required to obtain the necessary BOC OR02 Product Category accreditation and Medicare approval for Orthotics, both Off-the-Shelf and Prefabricated Custom Fit (OR02), Diabetic Shoes and Mastectomy (Breast Prosthesis).
Our dedicated staff will consult with US-Based Medical Supply Companies to review their BOC paperwork and, if necessary, obtain the required accreditation and Medicare approval to add the OR02 Product Category and certified Fitter to their company file. Once the DME’s file is updated, we will work with both the DME and Practitioners to be sure that all protocols to Assess and Fit each patient on our end are followed.
