This adventure started with a fervent interest in various fitness forms including Callanetics, Pilates, weight training, yoga, walking, biking, and kickboxing. Fitness was more than a physical activity; it was a lifestyle.
In the kitchen, my passion for food transcends mere sustenance. I perceive it as a powerful healing tool, a way to bond with loved ones, and a source of "OMG Delicious!" culinary experiences.
A significant turn came in 2016 when I started experiencing symptoms like extreme fatigue, painful joints, and weight gain. Initially attributing these to perimenopause, I was diagnosed at 51 with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and Compound MTHFR Genetic Mutation. This diagnosis was a turning point.
In response, I immersed myself in understanding autoimmune diseases and genetics, focusing on their management and impact. This quest involved exploring nutrient-rich diets, self-care, proper sleep, and supplementation, aiding in a healthier life despite my conditions.
My experiences led me to become an AIP Certified Coach and a Certified Functional Health Coach and to establish ‘A Path to Living,’ aimed at helping others regain their health. Through listening and learning about each client, we grow together with meal planning, safe movement, stress reduction, understanding hormones and their impact, and the creation of easy, sustainable life changes.
My promise is to offer unwavering support to my clients. I empathize with their struggles, believing in their potential and guiding them toward optimal health and a fulfilling life.
