Grenaa Motorfabrik has existed since 1906 and through innovative and solid engineering and craftmanship we strive to design and manufacture reliable machines and improving repair solutions which gives our clients maximum value.
The fabric designs and manufactures complete gearboxes and ensures well repair solutions for ships. We have the expertise to complete even the biggest gear jobs.
Since the 1980’s Grenaa Motorfabrik has also been involved in the wind turbine industry. Initially as a component manufacturer and later we developed into being the first independent gearbox repair factory.
Grenaa Motorfabrik has designed, manufactured and repaired gearboxes for more than 100 years. Our combination of engineering solutions, productions factory, craftmanship and customer service ensures gearboxes and repair solutions which adds maximum value to our clients.
• One of our concepts is supply of fully reconditioned gearboxes on exchange basis and we have more than 100 on stock. Among other Vestas, Nordex, Siemens, Fuhrländer, GE, DeWind, Senvion and some other types.
• Turn-key supply of reconditioned gearboxes including installation in your wind turbine
• We are an innovative company always seeking to renew and innovate our methods to continuously stand out and be competitive in the industry without compromising. We do “Smart Repairs” which means that we do the repairs up tower where others must replace the entire gearbox. These Smart Repairs have a very big potential of minimizing repair costs.
