Wilbert's Sons owns and manages nearly 120,000 acres across Louisiana and Mississippi, which includes bottomland hardwood forests, plantation pine timber, tillable agricultural property, pastureland, and commercial property. In 1848, Anton Wilbert, a young carpenter from Koblenz, Germany, settled in Plaquemine, Louisiana and bought land for timber to support his trade.
