ATÜ Duty Free, 1999’ların sonunda ileri bir vizyon ile modern havalimanları işletmeleri rüzgarını yakalayan TAV Havalimanları ve vergisiz satış mağazaları işletmeciliğinde deneyimli Unifree, Gebr. Heinemann ortaklığıyla kuruldu. ATÜ, kurulduğu günden bu yana, genlerinde havacılık ve mağazacılık alanında lider kuruluşların gücünü taşımaktadır.
Faaliyete ilk başladığı yıllarda yalnızca 80 metrekarelik bir mağazada faaliyet göstermekte olan, ATÜ sonraki 25 yılda sektörün liderleri arasında yerini aldı, günümüzde dünya çapında 7 ülkede 21 havalimanında 1 kruvaziyer limanında, 27.000 m2’lik bir satış alanını kapsayan 110’dan fazla mağaza işletiyor. Merkezi İstanbul’da olan ATÜ, 1.900’den fazla kişiyi istihdam ediyor ve yılda 100 milyondan fazla müşteriye hizmet veriyor.
ATÜ; Great Place to Work Türkiye tarafından gerçekleştirilen ve çalışanların kurum kültürüne ilişkin deneyimlerinin değerlendirildiği programda, yüksek güven kültürüne sahip iş yeri kriterlerini sağlayarak “Great Place to Work” sertifikasının sahibi olmuştur.
At the end of 1999's, ATU Duty Free was founded in partnership with Unifree and Gebr. Heinemann, experienced in the operation of TAV Airports and tax-free sales outlets, with a forward vision of the modern airport operations. Since its foundation, ATU has been at the forefront of aviation and retailing in its genres.
From a modest beginning with an 80 sqm store in Istanbul, ATU today operates over 27,000 square meters of retail space in 21 airports, 1 cruise port, spanning 7 countries around the world. With our headquarters in Istanbul, we are an international powerhouse, employing over 1900 people across the globe, serving approximately 100 million customers annually.
