Aama Surakshya Nepal is non profitable organization formed with an aim to prioritizing pregnant women, especially in public settings, established with the collective effort of doctors and public health enthusiasts.
During pregnancy, traveling long distances by bus and standing in line for long periods of time increases the risk of leg swelling, blood clots, and varicose veins. As buses do not have seat belts, sudden braking can endanger the unborn child. Aama Surakshya Nepal has been established with the aim of reducing these risks and spreading public awareness for the mental and physical safety of pregnant mothers.
Our initiative prioritizes pregnant women with the motto "Pregnant women are the first priority." We organize gynecology camps and distribute badges to pregnant women, allowing them recognition and priority in public settings. The badges enable identification of pregnant mothers, even in the first trimester, empowering them to navigate public spaces with ease. This effort aims to empower mothers in Nepal.
