The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is the nation’s leading voice promoting equity and education for women and girls through advocacy, philanthropy, and research.
The Redlands branch was founded on the University of Redlands campus over 75 years ago in 1947. Our members meet monthly to share a meal, socialize, and hear fascinating speakers on current topics. We're very active in organizing STEM conferences, fundraising for scholarships, and other community action projects. We are also happy to have the University of Redlands as a college/university partner member of AAUW.
Membership is open to anyone holding an associate, bachelor, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Students enrolled in a regionally accredited two or four-year institution may become student affiliates.
In principle and practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barrier to full participation in this organization based on gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, or physical ability.
