Three Generations Start Your Child’s Path to Future Success Abacus Ark was founded in 1971 by Angela Carrington in a small room attached to a Church on Harley Street. In 1981, her daughter, Laura, joined the nursery, and together they opened Toddlers Inn Nursery School in St. John’s Wood, North West London. Today, Abacus Ark is proudly run by Anthony and Moira, both directors of the company. Anthony, Laura’s son, attended Toddlers Inn Nursery School before earning a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mathematics from Durham University. After a successful finance career, Anthony chose to follow his passion for early childhood education, working alongside his family to create exceptional learning experiences. Now with Moira’s leadership and expertise complementing Anthony’s vision, Abacus Ark continues its long-standing tradition of delivering high-quality, child-centered education.
