The Ability Network of Delaware (A.N.D.) is the voice of disability service providers in Delaware. Our constituents include 40 member organizations serving over 100,000 Delawareans including individuals with disabilities, their families and the staff members who support them. The state funds these agencies to provide 80% of the services provided by the state to Delawareans with disabilities. We advocate for a strong system of community-based care and broad implementation of services that will allow all people with disabilities to live more independent and productive lives. Membership is open to organizations that provide direct services, advocacy, and/or educational services to Delawareans with disabilities, their families, and advocates.
What We Do
Knowledge & Purpose: A.N.D. and our staff possess a vast knowledge of local and national issues affecting the disability community. From this pooled expertise of the network of providers in the state, we can offer our members services based on understanding and purpose.

Leadership & Advocacy: We’ve built strong partnerships and a cohesive network of stakeholders inside the provider community, within the General Assembly, at the highest level of our state’s administration and beyond. Our leadership allows us to make a meaningful impact with our advocacy efforts for people with disabilities and the agencies that provide them with services.
