ABITAT (Alliance of Businessmen and Industrialists of Tanzania and Turkiye) Overview

Association of Businessmen and Industrialists of Tanzania and Turkey (ABITAT) was founded in August 2012, by a distinguished group of Turkish and Tanzania businessmen in Dar es Salaam. The mission of ABITAT is stated in the following: • To improve industry contacts between Turkiye and Tanzania, hence leading to increased investments in Tanzania. • To create a network between members for sharing ideas and experiences. • To promote solidarity between members. • To participate in any public debate on industry, improving business climate or enhancing the capabilities of small to medium-sized businesses • To create and support the implementation of projects to the benefit of Tanzanians. ABOUT TUSKON: The ABITAT is also an official representative of the Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkiye (TUSKON) here in the Tanzania. TUSKON conducts several trade bridges every year that links all of its members. ABITAT then invites its members to this trade bridges for them to explore and have new contacts for the advancement of their respective companies’ interest.
