Academy Orthopedics is proud to provide excellent orthopedic care to the Cumming, Buford, Duluth, and surrounding Metro Atlanta area. Dr. Jesse Seidman, Dr. James Duckett, and Dr. Jonathan Katz have extensive expertise in the areas of general orthopedics, hand & upper extremity, and sports medicine, and offer both surgical and non-surgical treatment options.
Our Downtown Cumming, GA location opened in 1985 as one of the first orthopedic offices in the area. Our Buford and Duluth locations followed soon after in 1989 and 1990, respectively. With signficant growth, we opened our Ambulatory Surgery Center in 2001, located on-site in our Cumming, GA location.
We have served over 10,000 patients in our fully accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center and are able to perform many outpatient surgeries in our Cumming, GA location. Additionally, our surgeons have privileges at Northside Forsyth and Northside Duluth Hospitals, as well as the Northside Johns Creek Outpatient Surgery Center.
Though the areas surrounding our office have grown significantly throughout the years, our focus on excellent patient care has not. We truly want our patients to be treated as family.
Our practice takes a true team approach to patient care; both our surgeons and staff work together to establish trust with our patients thru education and informed decisions. We honor and value the time our patients spend with us throughout their care, and work hard to get them back to what matters most.
