AccelerateBLK is a groundbreaking initiative by DataKirk aimed at addressing the crucial challenges of social mobility, diversity, and inclusion for the Black community in Scotland through targeted programmes. We understand that there are systemic barriers impede Black Talent Development, limiting access to employment, and upward mobility. AccelerateBLK is here to drive positive change by creating a supportive ecosystem that fosters talent development, entrepreneurship, and leadership within the Black community in Scotland. Through its three-armed project, AccelerateBLK aims to improve social mobility for Black Talent and to promote diversity and inclusion in Scotland. Arms of AccelerateBLK Project 1. Black Talent on Board: Board Training and Placement programme for Black Talent to serve on Boards 2. Career Accelerator Programme: Career training and development programme to support early and mid-career Black Talents in Scotland. 3. Entrepreneurship Accelerator Programme: Start-up training support programme provided to Black Start-up to build and scale their business in Scotland
