Founded in 2003 by Makeup Artist and Esthetician Eleonora Dimakos, ACE in FACE™ was at that time operating under the business name eMa, an acronym for eleonora Makeup artistry. The company was designed to offer a wide range of professionally applied mobile makeup services to clients of the Greater Toronto Area.
In 2010, the company expanded to include esthetic beauty services and dropped the acronym eMa. It transitioned to its full name, eleonora Makeup artistry while adding a new logo and a slogan, "The ACE in FACE".
2016 brought about a major makeover and expansion to include additional esthetic and spa services, this time also offered in studio. The company adopted its slogan as its new name, dropping all references to eleonora Makeup artistry. With a similar but more simplified logo, it now simply operates as ACE in FACE™.
