L'ACIM est une association française créée en 1989. Elle regroupe des bibliothécaires musicaux et des discothécaires. Depuis 25 ans, l’ACIM a développé une communauté professionnelle importante, avec des rencontres nationales annuelles, un site web , la liste de diffusion Discothécaires, une présence sur les réseaux : twitter, facebook, … Afin de défendre la place de la musique en bibliothèque, les missions de l’ACIM sont de : Susciter et en faciliter la réflexion professionnelle et d’animer des groupes de travail (formation, plan de classement, ressources numériques, éducation artistique et culturelle, métadonnées, statistiques, …) Mutualiser les ressources et les savoirs faire professionnels Organiser les Rencontres Nationales des Bibliothécaires Musicaux. Participer à faire avancer les objectifs communs des métiers des bibliothèques, des archives et de la documentation et coopérer avec les associations professionnelles liées à la musique en bibliothèque. The Association for cooperation of the professionals of music information (ACIM) is a French association created in 1989. It brings together music librarians. For 25 years, ACIM has developed an important community with : its annual national meetings its website its mailing list “Discothécaires” its active social media presence : twitter, facebook, ... Aiming to preserve the access to music in libraries, the main activities of ACIM are : stimulating thinking and debate within the profession and facilitating group projects on current issues (Music librarianship, music classification, digital music resources, arts and cultural education, metadata, statistics…) Pooling resources and sharing professional knowledge and skills Organizing the annual National Meeting of Music Librarians for 15 years Participating in advancing common goals of libraries, archives and documentation centers and cooperating with professional associations related to the music librarianship.
