ACLPerth is a one-of-a-kind event, bringing together Perth’s leading experts on ACL injury management. This two-day symposium features an elite lineup of 14 different presenters, including orthopaedic surgeons, sports medicine doctors, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, strength and conditioning coaches and performance psychologists, delivering a combination of lectures and practical workshops. Our goal is to promote an informative discussion and encourage multi-disciplinary collaboration amongst clinicians, leading to better outcomes for our patients going forwards.
The symposium is divided into two elements: ACL Conference (Sat 25th November) and the ACL Workshops (Sunday 26th November). The ACL Conference will feature nine presentations from ten different presenters, including a keynote presentation from world renowned researcher and academic, Prof Sophia Nimphius. Prof Nimphius is the current Pro-Vice Chancellor of Sport at ECU and leading expert in the field of ACL management. Other presenters, such as A/Prof Peter D’Alessandro, Dr Ross Radic, Dr Jay Ebert and Dr Keiran Richardson, are also leading experts in their respective fields and have all received significant recognition national and internationally for their scientific contributions. The ACL workshops will consist of six practical workshops, which aim to enhance practical skills in ACL rehabilitation, the use of technology, and decision-making around return to sport.
