Michael Barker, the creative director of Acme, founded the studio in 2008. Beginning his career at Bruce Mau Design in 1999, Michael has since worked with diverse institutions in the public, creative, and cultural sectors. His experience includes serving as an in-house designer for the University of Toronto, the Toronto International Film Festival, and the Toronto Wildlife Centre. Michael approaches design as a method to explore his deep curiosity about the world and to drive positive change.
