We work to empower patients and clinicians to explore novel cancer treatments and trials, that could:
- potentially extend patients' lives;
- improve quality of life, and;
- provide more research insight to what improves cancer care.
OUR PROJECTS:
We know that collaborating with all sectors and stakeholders to find solutions will improve access to innovative cancer treatments and help clinicians to feel supported in decisions to pursue promising treatments currently outside of standard care.
Our work supports both clinicians and patients:
- Providing ACT's innovative treatment 'Info Hub', a trusted 'one-stop shop' resource to search, filter for and access all credible treatments and trials.
- Organising conferences showcasing and promoting discussion between NHS oncologists and clinicians conducting innovative treatments in the EU
- Assisting patients and their families to make informed decisions when pursuing treatments outside of standard care.
As a UK charity, we are always open to new opportunities and we are reliant on the wonderful support of volunteers and donors to help us move mountains!
