Action Allies United is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing the UN's Sustainable Development Goal #5: Gender Equality. Our structure empowers high school students to address this goal through STEM-focused initiatives, emphasizing technology's role in empowering women and supporting sustainable development. Our "Her Bridge" program exemplifies this mission, fostering cross-cultural leadership by connecting young Moroccan women with American student ambassadors.
Last year, we raised $22,000 to rebuild a Moroccan girls' dormitory after an earthquake in the High Atlas Mountains, showcasing our ability to deliver impactful and community-driven results. This effort underscored the resilience of these young women striving to excel in male-dominated fields.
"Her Bridge" continues this mission with a three-year agenda: engaging with STEM experts in Morocco, hosting Moroccan scholars in the U.S., and culminating in a full Transatlantic exchange. These immersive, in-person experiences deepen cooperation, promote innovation, and empower young women as changemakers.
