Founded in 2005 as Gandhi Brigade, Action Youth Media is a youth workforce development and mentorship non-profit that offers more than 600 hours of free out of school time activities, paid 12-week internships and year long apprenticeships in media arts. Each year, we mentor and train more than 400 youth in photography, animation, filmmaking, podcasting and more. We offer a clean, warm, metro-accessible safe space for all; healthy and unlimited snacks; and mentors/instructors who all hold careers in the subject matter they are teaching.
