Active Accreditation

Active Accreditation enables stakeholders to understand security posture across the enterprise by automating Authorization and Assessment activities providing consistent vulnerability remediation prioritization and risk management. The problem is that Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools do not provide the cyber workforce the same set of security information relevant to their role providing everyone a common operating picture, displayed and articulated in a way that provides the most value to their role and authority. Most of this is performed manually or not at all. That is where Active Accreditation comes in. It is not only a SIEM tool but more, way more. Active Accreditation’s Active Engine component ingests user selected cybersecurity data and normalizes it for all tracked servers. Active Accreditation’s Active Mitigation component uses the Base Risk Level and matches against the hosting environment’s user defined protection mechanisms providing a more accurate picture of risk. Active Accreditation’s OverWatch component assists in the enforcement of continuous monitoring and assessment by tracking mitigation and compliance response. Active Impact differentiates servers having identical risk levels to a more granular level by ranking server remediation priorities based on security impact scores. Active Accreditation’s Active Aggregation has a user defined hierarchy establishing the lowest level server relationships through the organization to the highest levels of management and cybersecurity oversight. Active Aggregation establishes roles and responsibilities along with providing a consistent Authorization and Assessment continuous monitoring and risk assessment mechanism which provides clear and precise information throughout the different roles and needs of all stakeholders.
