ACT Stainless Steel has been in operation since 1995, when the directors noted an absence of a professional organisation which offered client service & value for money in the Canberra region. Filling this void in the marketplace became the goal. Since this time, the company has progressed to become the largest manufacturer of specialised stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium & brass products in the area, through expert design, coordination & quality of workmanship, endearing itself to both local & interstate builders, architects, clubs & foodservice consultants as a result. ACT Stainless Steel offers a full design service with CAD flexibility & accuracy, along with expertise in all aspects of metal fabrication, project coordination, foodservice equipment selection & sales, from CFSP qualified staff. Employing only the most qualified & experienced tradespeople for associated work such as refrigeration & beer systems, Joinery/Carpentry, Plumbing & Electrical installation. With recent equipment upgrades, involving the addition of CNC machinery in the form of a Finnpower CNC turret punch & Gasparini CNC brake press, ACT Stainless Steel utilizes state of the art fabrication methods, including full 3D design of componentry with Solid works software. Such accuracy & product quality has not been available in the stainless steel industry in Canberra until this time.
