The main function of ACI is to provide a high quality coating facility, for a wide range of industry sectors. The directors of ACI have a combined total of over 30 years' experience in the oil and gas industry. During this period, they have carried out work for companies in the aerospace, gas turbine, steel production, manufacturing and oil and gas industries. ACI specialise in the provision of InnerArmor Internal Coating and High Integrity/High Velocity Thermal Spray (HVOF) External Coatings. Similar spray coating techniques have successfully been used for over 40 years, primarily in the aerospace industry and more recently in the oil and gas markets. The revolutionary InnerArmor technology deposits advanced, protective coatings on the internal surfaces of a broad spectrum of products. InnerArmor applications cover a wide spectrum of industries and applications, because virtually any function involving the handling or movement of fluids or gases can benefit. This includes everything from oil and gas to chemical processing, from pulp and paper to food processing, from public utilities to aerospace. HVOF coatings have been developed specifically to increase the service life cycle of new metallic components, as well as repair parts which have suffered from corrosion, erosion or wear. ACI provide an HVOF coating service which is proven to exceed all previous methods and extend component life well beyond that of the original specification. In addition to the HVOF coatings available, ACI can also provide wire arc spray coatings which have benefits in their own right and can be used when an alternative coating type is required. To aid in the refurbishment of worn goods, experienced machinists and inspectors ensure that the recovery of such unserviceable components to their original specification is achieved.
