In AOTECH we firmly believe in R&D as a means to increase efficiency and improve the productivity of industrial processes through photonics. Currently, in aeronautics, our main product is a system based in optical sensors for monitoring turbines and compressors based on the measurement of tip timing (TT) and tip clearance (TC). For food and pharma industries we have developed a VIS-NIR spectroscopy platform that allows analysis of the physical properties and chemical composition of different fluids and solids in real time. Nowadays, we are also working on the development of biosensors for the detection of heavy metals in water, proteins, glucose, etc.
