Lakeville Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, Jonathan McCabe, DMD, MD, practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders, and perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures.
Dr. McCabe was born and raised in Mankato, MN, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as Biology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine and graduated at the top of his class earning his Dental Medical Doctorate (DMD). Dr. McCabe continued on to complete a six-year oral and maxillofacial residency at the University of Florida Jacksonville campus. It was there he graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville to earn his Medical Doctorate (MD) and completed one year of General Surgery training at the University of Florida.
Dr. McCabe is a board-eligible member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and an active member of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ACOMS), American Dental Association (ADA), Minnesota Dental Association (MDA), American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA), a diplomat of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and excited to contribute to the Minnesota Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (MSOMS). He has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and has lectured on numerous topics within the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
