The Adventures of Boo and Chin is a children's book series published beginning December 2023. These wonderful books center the lives of two elementary school children who become best friends after meeting in 3rd grade. Boo is an AfroLatina girl who moves from the city to a small town, Summersville and on her first day of school, she meets her new best friend, Chin. Chin is a Chinese boy who becomes enthralled with the new girl immediately and welcomes her to Summersville with an immediate invitation to be his best friend. All of Boo's jitters roll away and she knows she's in for an absolute treat, and so are you and the kiddies in your life!
Author, Aubria Ralph wrote these books because she wanted to see people that were like the people she knows and loves represented. As a kid she almost never saw a book with a Black or Hispanic child protagonist, let alone books that included different aspects of the various cultures and religions in our global society. Boo and Chin are an amalgamation of the wonder children she has had the privilege of being an aunt or teacher to over the years. Watching her God-children who inspired and will continue to inspire her stories grow up and enjoying mini-adventures with them catalyzed these beautiful books. With the help of illustrator, Reya Lanot-Manuel, Ralph was able to complete the first 7 books August 2022-August 2023 and get them to market almost immediately.

We also designed handmade limited edition plush toys that are available exclusively on our website.
