Based in Montréal, Canada, the company was created following a pilot project for aircraft disassembly conducted at the Montréal-Mirabel International Airport. Aerocycle was the first Canadian end-of-life aircraft dismantler to earn AFRA (Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association) and ASA (Aviation Suppliers Association) accreditations.
