Afloat is a floating bar and restaurant on the Yarra River (Birrarung) in the heart of Melbourne.
An ever-evolving hospitality venture, the venue comes to life annually between September and June. With each season’s reopening, the venue undergoes a complete refit, unveiling a brand new theme annually. Designed to emulate some of the world’s most exotic international destinations, each new theme is embraced through the venue’s interior and design, food and beverage offerings, music, and entertainment programming.
Nine seasons on the Yarra has seen the venue transform to evoke some of the world’s most sought-after vacation destinations including Italy’s Amalfi Coast, Turkey’s Turquoise Coast, the French Riviera, Palm Springs, the Balearic Islands of Spain, the rich and vibrant Mexico, and most recently, the magical isle of Capri.
