For the past decade, we have developed a Continental Urban Development Strategy to assist African States deal with rapid urbanisation, which has resulted in an initiative to develop 123 new modern cities across Africa. Our aim is to deliver 123 million homes and 123 million permanent positions of employment, in addition to establish 123,000 places of education, healthcare and recreation.  The Africa123 initiative offers the United Kingdom the opportunity to dramatically enhance it's relationship with the African continent whilst securing preferred access and perhaps exclusivity of in-excess of US$20 trillion worth of economic stimulus in African markets, e.g. each of the 123 new modern cities will require an independent power plant, which Rolls Royce's SMR (Small Modular Reactors) could supply and manage on a BOT (Build Operate and Transfer) basis.
