The Air Force School Panchwati was established by Group Captain Mishra in the year 1986 to cater to the educational needs of the wards of air warriors of AMSF / CESCAL as well as children from the neighboring units. From 1986 -till 1995 March, it made its humble beginning nestled in the confines of the domestic area of AF Station ,Basant Nagar) and at that time it was called VidyaMandir School. In the subsequent year it was called as A F VidyaMandir School. Later in 2000, the school renamed to Air Force School Panchwati which is now under 13BRD, Palam. The school began with 2 teachers. Mrs Seth was In charge of the school- LKG & UKG.
