The owner and founder, Kayla, has been working with QuickBooks software off and on for over 15 years. She then proceeded to receive her bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of North Dakota. During this time, she worked for a small trucking company doing data entry. This evolved into being the Office Manager and eventual Controller. Her career then pivoted into public accounting, where she started working with numerous businesses. This provided a great foundation of knowledge for many industries she hadn’t had personal experience with (construction, manufacturing, professional services, real estate, etc.).
After departing the public accounting world, she entered the software consulting world. Here, she was able to grow her knowledge of both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. Finally, she has made the move to make her small side consulting business her primary focus. Here, she is hoping to use her skills and knowledge to empower small and mid-sized businesses to achieve their goals
