While digital transformation has advanced in personal insurance, commercial insurance remains underserved. Brokers still rely on spreadsheets and outdated systems, and insurers and reinsurers exchange data via PDFs and email. These manual processes cause delays, compliance risk, and revenue loss—especially in APAC, the Middle East, and other emerging markets where digital broking is still rare.
From 2014 to 2020, we operated as Second CRM, working with a major insurtech (now part of Bolttech) to build digital solutions across Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and India. That experience showed us the impact of automation and data-driven systems in transforming insurance operations.
In May 2020, we launched Agiliux Cloud Insurance with a clear mission: to digitalise commercial insurance. After hundreds of discussions with industry players, we realised the urgent need for intelligent, purpose-built platforms. This led us to focus squarely on commercial insurance brokers, while continuing to develop related solutions for insurers and reinsurers.
Over five years, we’ve built a suite of integrated products:

• Agiliux Digital & CRM: Supports insurers, banks, and agents
• Agiliux Chat: Conversational AI for real-time staff and customer support
• Agiliux DataXchange*: Standards-based API middleware for insurers, reinsurers, and brokers
Today, 10 paying clients across Southeast Asia rely on Agiliux. We’re also working with over 30 potential clients across APAC, the Middle East, the UK, and Australia—where we’ve established our entities or working with local partners.
Our founders, Deep and Sarab, believe that AI-powered, context-aware automation will reshape insurance operations. With this vision, we aim to serve 1,000+ clients, and generate US$100M ARR, by 2030.
