AGREEN is the world’s number one citrus grower and part of EL Banna Group. It was established in 1995 as an affiliate of the EL BANNA Group. EL Banna Group is a pioneer in the Middle Eastern markets in many industries including poultry, agriculture, tourism, pharmaceuticals, paper and cardboard manufacturing.
AGREEN started its journey in 1995 by reclaiming 1000 acres of perfect for cultivation soil and planted them with a wide variety of citrus fruits. AGREEN multiplied its production by the cultivation of a huge land in Egypt with the highest fertility soil in Egypt, till the total planted areas reached 30000 acres of all citrus varieties in 2020. AGREEN production will reach half million tons of citrus in 2026.
Agreen came to be ranked as exporter number one in Egypt and the Middle East since 2014 by exporting 170,000 tons annually to all over the world. Agreen citrus range are Oranges, Mandarins, Lemons, and Grapefruit.
