AgriPublica is a start-up venture that will develop and operate small-scale vertical farms throughout Manhattan, creating hyper-local circular economies for fresh produce. The Company will lease office space (5,000-10,000 sf) in mixed-use buildings in target neighborhoods and install vertical farms that can produce around 400,000 pounds of produce each year.
AgriPublica will grow a mix of lettuces, micro greens, herbs, and other in-demand produce, and directly distribute its harvest to residents in the building (or nearby buildings) as well as restaurants and markets in the immediate area.
