Agro-Sindikat is an autonomous, democratic and independent organization of workers, individual farmers, pensioners and students in which they affiliate voluntarily in the matter of advocacy, representation, promotion and protection of their economic, social and other individual and collective interests.
Agro-Sindikat is voluntarily affiliated in the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia and has the right to join other Federation and international union organizations.
Agro-Sindikat has the following goals and tasks:
exercise Constitutional and Law rights of workers
to protect and promote economic, social, cultural and other interests of its members
conclusion of collective agreements and establishing the labour cost;
assurance of life worthy income for of the member and his family;
organizing industrial actions including strike;
providing legal protection of membership;
providing material and other assistance to the membership;
exercise the constitutional right to manage and participate in decision-making on the basis of labour;
developing labour market;
improvement of working conditions and life;
improvement of living standards and social security;
security of jobs;
social and health policy and protection of the environment;
education and training of the membership;
Motivation for affiliating new members in Agro-Sindikat;
developing and preservation of democratic, legal and social state, preserving its free, independent regulation of fundamental human rights and freedoms;
exercise and protect all human and trade union rights and freedoms, especially the right of trade union action of the trustees and representatives;
preserve the right of resistance and independence of Agro-Sindikat’s movement;
workers solidarity;
protection of the dignity of the worker.
