Agro Food Lab is een onafhankelijk opererend laboratorium en geaccrediteerd door de Raad van Accreditatie. Deze accreditatie is gebaseerd op een beoordeling zoals vastgelegd in NEN-EN-ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
Het Agro Food Lab beschikt over moderne PCR en detectie technieken om zeer snel en uiterst nauwkeurig pathogene micro-organismen vast te kunnen stellen binnen 24 uur in plaats van de traditionele methode van 96 uur.
Het specifieke bacteriologisch onderzoek wordt elke dag uitgevoerd op onder meer:
Totaal kiemgetal, Enterobacteriaceae, Salmonella spp., Campylobacter, Listeria monocytogenes, Aeroob k.v.e., Pseudomonas, Coliformen, E – coli, Staphylococces aureus, residu onderzoek etc.
•NEN-EN-ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Algemene eisen voor de bekwaamheid van beproevings- en kalibratie laboratoria.
•HOSOWO, besluit erkenning voorwaarden en werkwijzen HOSOWO instanties (Avined) 2011.
•Kenniscentrum PMLF ( Procestechniek, Milieutechniek, Laboratoriumtechniek en Fotonica)
•Erkend leerbedrijf Sector Laboratoriumtechniek voor de volgende CREBO – erkende opleidingen: 93715 Analist, uitstroom analist microbiologie
