AgroTrace At AgroTrace, we revolutionize irrigation and fertigation management with our smart, innovative solutions. Our advanced machine measures soil water potential and temperature at various depths, accurately estimating the soil's water needs. Soil Water Potential Soil water potential measures the force applied by roots to extract water from the soil, allowing us to determine the moisture percentage held within the soil while avoiding leaching. This makes AgroTrace an essential tool for optimizing irrigation schedules, preventing water and fertilizer from leaching beyond the efficient root zone. Working Principle Our system focuses on two crucial points: field capacity and efficient root zone. Field capacity is the soil's moisture percentage at a soil water potential of 0.3cb, beyond which leaching occurs. Efficient root zones vary with crop stages, from 6-9 inches during the vegetative stage, 9-12 inches during the flowering stage, to 12-15 inches during the fruiting stage. Technology AgroTrace operates on a licensed IoT spectrum managed by Jio, ensuring robust signal strength across 90% of pincodes. Data is transmitted via the LTE network to our database, where proprietary AI algorithms analyze and inform water requirements at different stages. Real-time results are available to farmers through our mobile app, under development for both iOS and Android.
